Hi,

After doing a search for MoI at Google+, I discovered a Japanese MoI user who shows off some cool techniques:

I wonder how he created this relief:

https://plus.google.com/107216551402627971582/posts/T7qD8e7ruwG

It looks like some sort of displacement technique. Is it a plug-in or did he convert a vector graphic to MoI? If it's an imported vector graphic, how did he achieve the displacement-like difference in thickness?

Have nice Sunday,

Metin

ZSurf is quite an interesting tool. Too bad the interface is dated and the latest version is three years old.

Maybe it's interesting to add this technique as an option to MoI, Michael? Would be great for easy detailing, and extracting curves from the results.

Yup, it is something that I would like to add in to MoI at some point in the future. For now though since ZSurf is able to do the job it just hasn't been a high priority.

There is also this thing to see: www.crazybump.com/‎
for seamless textures, to prepare bump bitmap files for 3D patterns, or homogeneous random match materials, as a complement with Zsurf4.

Good MoI

Thanks Bard! I get a web page error though. Is the tool still being developed?
