Hi,
When creating an object; i often find itvery useful to
have to different 3d views from two different
angles - is it possible in MoI to open two
3d views instead of the standard front / Right /
top / 3d ? TOM

I don't believe that!
But you can launch 2 sessions of Moi in the same time and make some Copy Past!
So you can have a 3D position in one, and another 3D position in the second!
Of course your screen will be half size if you want both visible in the same time at the screen! :)

Hi Tom, sorry no it's not possible to do that currently, things are only set up to have one 3D view. It is possible to reorient the top/front/right view when you set a cplane but I don't think that is what you're looking for here.

In the future I would like to add some stuff for changing the view configuration and for maybe opening up a separate view frame that could go on a different monitor. Those things are probably a ways out still though.

More flexible views / cutomizable UI and working on a second monitor is on top of my wishlist -
thanks for answering !

I would like holograms and an immersive 3D 4K/HD virtual-reality display ability along with neural input object manipulation myself!

Maybe in MoI V.X7? ;-)

Man, I'm going to be sooooo old when that all comes out.

Acutally, as far as multiple 3D-views, or maybe along the lines of saving views.
I've always wondered if Dinos could apply the script he used for LightingOptions to saved camera positions.

Hi Michael

Is something in planning to this topic?

Hi Michael ...

I have dual screens ... it would sure be nice to be able to have MoI open twice and able to display on both. I'm aware that I can do this on a single screen with reduced space to work. I was surprised when I could not open it on either screen (or grab it an move it over). It would be great for copy and paste.

OH ... I just discovered that if I reduce the window a little that I can move it to the second monitor. Great.

cheers,
eric

Hi Apophis,

> Is something in planning to this topic?

Sorry no nothing specifically planned quite yet for this. I have some general ideas on it but I'm not sure when they will come to fruition.

Hi eric,

It must have been maximized - it looks like you've already figured out that if you unmaximize the window you can then drag it to a second monitor.

Yes. I did ... and I am chagrined that I did not discover it a lot earlier ... It is very handy when using dual monitors.
thanks,
eric
