Render to file

Hi.

I discovered the script to render a file to clipboard
and wonder if there is way to render an image directly
into a file according to a folder path -
or even better : save a rendered image the same time
the MoI- file is saved (save = 3dm + jpg) That way the user would have
a preview of all the MoI files making it much easier
to find / identify specific files in the respective folders on
the harddrive.

Hi Tom, yeah just in case you didn't find the particular one there is a script here for saving a screenshot image at the same time as saving a regular file:

Also in the most recent beta there's a new script method that can generate a render to an image object, which can then be saved to disk instead of the clipboard:
