I tried the script for a floating palletes-window on a second monitor, but the window showing up is to small and
not resizable . . .
Maybe teh script does not work for V3 beta ??

Hi Tom, yeah the overall structure of the UI has changed somewhat in V3.

So that does mean that scripts that were digging into particular details of the UI structure like that one might not work on V3 directly.

If I remember right though, that old script for making a floating side pane did not really work right from the beginning, I think it was a kind of concept demo and not a fully working thing right from the beginning.

In the future I do want to make an option for putting the side pane onto a different monitor but right now there really isn't any way to do that. Some people just stretch the MoI window over so that it spans 2 monitors with the side pane sticking out onto one though.

Are there thoughts of offering an additional View Panel on a second monitor ?
Working with two monitors this is very on top of my wish list :-)

Yeah I have some ideas for it, and it's been on the wishlist for a long time but I'm not sure when I will be able to implement it.
