Keeping "trough" points of a spline in editing ...

Hi there,
one thing which always gives me problems is the work with splines which use "trough points":
While you create them, they are there and all is fine, but when you later start to edit the spline
the "trough pints" are gone and instead there are the usual controll points outside of the spline.
Is there a way to keep the "trough points" even after the spline has been created, in editing?
Best regards
Heiner

Sorry, right now there is not any way to do that. You might try creating a new spline instead of editing the existing one.

I think in the future it will be part of the history editing mechanism to allow the type of editing that you want here but currently it's not possible.

It is possible while editing to drag a single point on a curve to move that point to a new location, but it's not quite the same thing as editing the original "through points" because it doesn't force the curve to still go through the other original "through points".
