'Flow' orientation question

Hi,

I'm using lastest v3 beta.

I have a question about 'Flow' orientation

1st image is what I want. but to get this result, I have to rotate the original solids.

If I just apply Flow without rotation, the result solids fall down

How can I do that exactly?

Thanks in advance.

Hi sandykoufax, there is a bug right now where the "side direction" for the orientation frames on each flow curve is done separate from one another and it's fairly easy for there to be an unwanted 90 degree rotation in the results.

It tends to behave more predictably if you put both curves to be in the Top x/y world plane before doing the flow, that then will avoid unwanted rotations.

I am planning on fixing this up so that it will look if both curves are coplanar and then it can use that plane normal as a common side direction which should then make your original case here work.

Until that fix is in place though curve-to-curve flow will work better if the curves are in the XY plane.
