The more easy program for make animation and free ;)
and directly format saved from Moi (SKP) is Sketchup!
http://www.sketchup.com/
see my little video ;) http://moiscript.weebly.com/video05-plug-su.html

of 2 sorts :
1- animation of camera so automatic transition between scene

2- or more elaborate any animation (physic, or moving objects) but depending of what you need! ;)

In any case you must have a renderer inside like this funny one light-up http://www.light-up.co.uk/ but it's not free 149$
or twillight 99$ http://twilightrender.com/

There is only one free without limitation for sketchup : Kerkythea but not for beginner!

He could also use the free ver. of Maxwell Render for SketchUp! :-)

And if he's on the Mac he could use instead of SketchUp Cheetah 3D or
Shade 3D Basic (also available for Win).

Stefan

Hi Michael, Pilou & Stefan.

Thank you for giving me feedback on my question. Hmmm... Basically what I'm hoping to find is an "overall solution" to making these drawings that is as (relatively) simple and straightforward to use as I've found Moi3D to be.

I've previously looked at Blender but - to me - it was not as intuitive as I'd like it to be.

Sketchup might be an option, yet I'd rather use the time that it may take to learn sketchup to e.g. learn more of Moi3D.

And, since I only need one (or maybe a few drawings) I guess it's time to ponder what to do.

Yet thanks again for your considering and answering my question ;-)

Cheers,

Jesper
