> I don't know why but the essential is that is working and more efficient for my case than the Cevjon method who works only with / / & horizontal curves and more speedy to make as the trimed curves are yet drawn! :)

Your curves don't have to be horizontal for the loft to work.

When you are creating organic shapes (like yours) then you will usually find loft works best.

yep
but as shown on my / your example
it's more easy to make a simple "fillet" than take in right position some "sections" curve for obtain the round "profil" ;)

I still can't see the problem with this.

If you loft the other way (as I showed earlier) it is quite easy to add a standard fillet to bottom of the shape ?

ok your images and method are very conviencing! :)

i will study that and see if I am wrong somewhere on the lines following

""But seems that is not the same start concept
I have several vertical half sections given for any reason (say for a boat)
you have several complete horizontal sections
does these horizontal sections can be done without make first the Loft & fillet or the vertical sections
And maybe not so easy to just change the angle of the Fillet than change all sizes of your section curves""

I must miss something
Can you post the 3dm of your blue images?
I am perplex about the 4 blue views
does this a mixing between my object and your so 2 differents objects in a compositing Split four view ?

How do you obain the horizontal sections? by project a line o the volume?

I am also interested by your classic fillet before /after for see what are the curves selected
thx by advance!

Frenchy

Here is the 3DM file

I used loft->loose->exact.
Fillet was 2.5

If your looking to model organic shapes with some sort of precision then you would probably need to model it like Mauro shows.

Thx
Ok I see : I was in error by the miss-align of the top view generator curves and the Loft loose state for the Point at top flat align with an "external circle form"

and as your name's file says, the bottom fillet don't yet work ! (bug ? ) or your fall in the same case than my first post! ;)
And how you solve it ? In redraw another curves? ;)

In any case I prefer my method because you don't need to redraw any curves! :)
You can apply directly the vertical sections given!
