Hi, I often use sweep with the profile outside of the bounding box of the rail curve. That allows to sweep the profile along its center automatically, without having to position it at the start of the rail manually.
However, it would be a lot useful to me some options to choose the pivot alignment.
I am attaching a picture of the 3dsmax sweep as an example of what I am talking about.



That "Pivot alignment" option would save me a lot of time :)

Hi Max, yeah I do want to make it possible to adjust which location of the profile gets positioned onto the rail. My plan for that is to make a point appear while you are in the Sweep command that shows the current location and let you drag it to position it somewhere else. It's another one of those things that's been on the "todo" list for a while now.
