Hi Pilou, I have heard a few reports of this. It seems to mean that there was some problem with the IE7 installation - something is slightly misconfigured there that produces this error in MoI.

It can usually be fixed by using IE7's "Reset settings" feature, as mentioned in this blog post: http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2006/06/12/628499.aspx

To use it, inside IE7 go to the Tools Menu / Internet Options / Advanced Tab, and click on the "Reset" button near the bottom of the dialog.

MoI should work after the IE settings have been restored to their defaults.

Please let me know if that works or not.

Thanks,

- Michael

Great! I'm glad that solved it.

I'm still not quite sure what the exact cause of this problem is, but it seems that there is some kind of mis-configuration problem in the registry that happens on a small number of IE7 installs. I'm glad they included that new "Reset" button to fix it up.
