How about self healing extrudes (Boolean union) when extruding a face?

I think it's unlikely to make it in for v3, sorry. I do want to try to do some better 2D output though.

I do want to make a pass through some boolean improvements and one of the things I want to try is an automatic boolean with extrude.

Maybe a hidden line mode before exporting would make it possible to get some nice clean 2d documentation. Add shadows in drawings and here we go!

I must admit that dimensions would be a real plus to Moi.
It could open the software to a whole group of users, becoming a excellent cad solution with the unparalled workflow the program has to offer.

Others are very clumsy to use in comparison.

Dimensions could be auto scaling and have adjustable scale factor.

Printable Output could work through a pdf file, lines at 1pt, dimension and hidden lines at .5pt.

I could do without sheets or paper space viewports.
Editable muli-line text would be nice, but again not necessary.

This and groups would be very tasty.

Wow, I didn't realised how close is MoI to entering this new world. How about line width based on the brightness of the style, the darker the thicker, you set the thickest and lightest value on MoI ini and for standardised widths you can have a template file. No new UI except for a button on the pdf export for use "brightness as line width" and you are good to go!

I'll have to admit that I am sorry that dimensioning won't make it in V3 ... THere are other options but I will be very happy when I don't have to leave MoI to complete a set of drawings ... I so much enjoy using it.

And I am pleased to hear that automatic booleans may become part of extrude this time around. For me that will save a lot of clicks. I am a little surprised that I need this function so often in architectural drawings.
