Hi Rudy, at some point during your machine cleanup did you accidentally change the system date on your machine?

Double check your system clock to make sure it has the correct month and also year as well. If you have set your clock to some incorrect date that can cause the v3 beta to expire prematurely. Once it has expired it will stay expired, but I can send you a special utility to fix it up. Please contact me by e-mail at moi@moi3d.com and I will send that to you.

Hi Michael,
you got it right.
I did change date / time.
I have installed some microsoft programs during week end and some how now my laptop is messed up.
I did a system restore and speed is back to normal, but when I change back to updated date/time, everything is slowing down again.
right now, I am using todays' date but of 1 year ago now to see how long it will be OK without slowing down.
If still does that on this system restore "wrong" date, then might be overheating.
Anyway if you can forward me that utility would be great.
Of course I can open files on MOI v2, but still I am used to V3 beta now.....
my email is
rudy61_at_ iowatelecom.net

Thanks very much.
Rudy

Hi Rudy, I'll send you the utility but you shouldn't use it until you're all done switching your clock around and can leave it set to the current date. You can't really run the v3 beta properly without the date set correctly and if you're changing the date back and forth a lot you'll just run into the same problem again, and also the beta reset utility will only work one time so you'll want to be finished doing clock stuff when you use it.
