Nice! Definitely one technique to add to the ol' toolbox.

Reminds me of using align in AutoCAD years ago. You could move, align, scale at the same time. Was very handy moving sketches around and resizing them. I just need to mess around in Rhino now to see if their solution is as easy in MoI.

Tried this method but it's not so good if you have more than 1 curve that you have to match. Because it stretches all curve ..

Just found the way how to make this cap perfectly smooth. I just blend with G1 naked edges on the end)! Works great)

Just verify for some complex forms that all connexions' surfaces are well "waterproof"!

Ok, found it in Rhino.

Orient with the option SCALE set to yes.

Not quite ACAD but Rhino and MoI are hand holders in my toolbox.
