I work for architecture and I configure MoI to use cm unit and 10 cm for the grid snap. But at the beginning, the views are too small, about 40×30 cm, so I always must unzoom to start my work.
I looked at the moi.ini file to setup the zoom, but I dont find anything... I looked in the forum too, but no more...
I miss it or there is no config for that ?

Hi Didier, if you get the views set up how you want them you can then save a 3DM file, and then use that 3DM file as the startup template. Then your initial view setup (and various other things like default Styles too) will come from that file.

You can set the startup template under Options > General > "Template file".

It doesn't really matter where you put the template file, just save it in some place where you won't likely delete it later on.

Finally!

After all this time, I broke down and set up a "Default.3dm" template file. :-o

I made up two dozen colors for the materials bank which should come in handy for bouts of creativity.



And... if you want to bring your default colors into any existing model, simply go to Import and choose your "Default.3dm" template file.
