Hi Michael,
I can't rotate in the 3D view with my SpaceNavigator when I twist (spin) the knob.
It seems that SpaceNavigator roll axis affects the rotation.

Hey bisenberger,
It seems to work here. My properties are a little different than yours with the "spin" as the last in the list. Are you on the current version of driver? Or maybe this is a win/mac diff?

Also, the "roll" will only be a single direction (forward and back) unless you set an option in MoI to unlock it under view/pan-rotate-3d connexion options.

Hi bisenberger, there are various settings to adjust SpaceNavigator behavior in MoI, go to Options > View > Rotate/Pan/Zoom options and they are under the 3Dconnexion options section on the right hand side. You maybe want to set "Swap twist and tilt":

Hi BurrMan,
Running Windows 7 Pro 64bit.
Here is the 3dconnexion driver info:
Release Version: 3.16.3
(Driver Version: 6.16.1)
Firmware Version: 4.31

When I ran the 3Dconnexion Update Wizard it said I had the latest version.

and here are my MoI settings:

You're welcome bisenberger!

I think that at some point they changed the default rotation behavior in the space navigator driver as far as which direction controls which type of rotation.

But that setting in MoI can be used to swap the rotation motions with one another to compensate for whatever the driver is doing.
