Weird export in latest beta

Hi there,

I've got a problem with latest beta export to .OBJ

As you can see in this screenshot (cinema 4D) the pivot point is all wrong, but worse than that the bounding box of the object is all wrong too.

The orange bounding box should be the size of the small stair only !

Weirdest thing is that I imported in one OBJ the whole stair + the others parts around it (they show as separated objects)

But if you look at this bounding box (of the white highlighted panel) you notice that every object has the same pivot point and the same exact bounding box..

That makes it impossible to use UV/box mapping.

Hi DesuDeus, OBJ files do not themselves contain any specific information about a pivot point or bounding box, those are things that Cinema4D is calculating from the polygon data. So there isn't really anything that I can do at export time in MoI to control that, you would need to look at any C4D import options to control that, or there are probably some commands or scripts available in C4D for placing the pivot point to the center of the bounding box.

I don't know why a bounding box would be incorrect, but again that's something that C4D is calculating itself, you would need to ask Maxon about any odd behavior with that.

You might also see if the Riptide OBJ importer works better or has any different options for the import as well.

There should not be any difference in MoI's behavior in this area in the last beta, if you are seeing differences in your imports is it possible that you have updated C4D or changed some settings inside of it?
