Hi everyone !

Something not exactly related to MoI but could be cool for modelers out there !

I just got my Epson V600 scanner and I started feeding it :)
Technical illustrations, old cars and a lot more to come !
Feel free to use those pictures for anything you want.
Hope it's useful for someone...

Everything is available as 600 DPI files on white background on my Flickr account here

I got nearly 200 pages of technical cars illustrations and then I will upload different kind of stuff (architectural ones).

Here's some examples of what I got:

Someday it would be fun to make MoI be able to make renderings that looked like those.... :)

Thanks for sharing these cool resources!

Michael, I don't know if you're familiar with the Freestyle renderer, but it's apparently compatible with Blender (I've never used Freestyle.) You could export from MoI and import into Blender to render.

I've used FreeStyle. Blender is not needed because MoI will save as a 3DS file for direct use by FreeStyle Render.

Here's a ring and a gear I made while experimenting.

Do you know that the free Sketchup has a huge of differents "free style" ? ;)
http://sketchup.google.com/intl/fr/

So just export in skp format from Moi to Sketchup, reload it in sketchup, choose your style!
That's all :)
you can't find more simple! You can also with Blender but you must learn Bender :D:)
With Sketchup nothing to do :)

from a model found on the net ;)

before (here i render with Kerkythea or Twillight render or Renderin or Podium or Light Up etc...all plugins of Sketchup )

after apply a preset style!
