Hi there, a quick script request that could be useful for quickly drawing to a grid then changing the grid size...

Here's how it would work

1. Shortcut
2. Draw a distance (using cline) or input unit
3. The grid interval change based on that distance

1b. Shortcut
2b. Input 0
3b. The grid reset to the default size

Is it possible to do it ?

It would allow for example to align parts on objects after an array (if there's like 1.35cm between each objects) then reset the grid to default one you have finished

Hi DesuDeus, there are a few different parameters for the grid, like "Grid size", "Snap size", "Grid sections", etc... - which of these various parameters are you asking about changing that way?

For inputting units, you can do that currently under Options > Grid - all those various parameters are available there for changing.
