Force 2D snapping when on ortho view

Hi guys,

A quick question here. I'm often re-drawing curves from CAD files from left/right or top/down views.

So I often create a new style and start making 2D curves and lines on top of existing geometry.

Is there a shortcut to toggle between 2D snap and 3D snap ?

So when I finish my 2D drawing the points are all in the same plane :)

Hi DesuDeus, normally when using a 2D view the first point of whatever you draw can be snapped freely and then any additional points in that drawing command picked in a 2D view will go on a plane parallel to the construction plane but at the same height of that first point. So that makes the 2D views draw things that can be located at some depth level but then will be planar at that depth level.

I guess what you are asking about is also a way to project the first point onto the construction plane as well?

Right now it looks like I do not have any method set up to do that, I will add something in for that for the next v3 beta.
