it's here some easy to select that you want but when the curve is some convoluted it's more difficult!

Hi Pilou, there isn't currently any way to script that since the control points are not yet accessible to scripts. I want to improve that in the future though to make it possible to do some kinds of selection helper scripts like you are asking about here but it's not possible to do it right now though.
