Moi and Microsoft Surface

Since Moi 3d is made for tablets and Microsofts new Surface tablet is made for inking with a special pen and has the lowest gap between screen
and glas both Moi under Windows 8 and Surface are made for each other..
You can use it to make 3d like you would draw a construction on a piece of paper.....
all in a very small and very light very portable unit.. a tablet.
Very interesting...
Peter

Hi Peter, yup it looks pretty interesting!

There are 2 different versions of it, and just be aware that MoI will only run on the Intel one - the lower-end ARM one will not run regular Windows programs, that model only runs kind the semi-lightweight new Metro-style apps.

Hi Pilou, yes MoI should run on the Intel version, in the Windows 8 desktop.

The other lower-end ARM version does not run existing Windows apps, so MoI and other regular Windows programs will not run on that version of the tablet.

Yeah - As soon as I saw the pen during the Surface presentation I immediately thought of MoI.

Michael - since you live just a short drive away, go over to Microsoft and show them how it's done :)

As a footnote, Microsoft used KeyShot to render the Surface images for their product announcement:
