Hi, does anyone know the commands for aligning object? I`v seen only one commend named allign, this seams to handle all the options like center, right, .... I would like a keyboard shortcut for each opotion.
Thanks for any hints
nos
Hi nos - you can do this by copying the attached updated Align.js command script file over top of your old version inside the \commands folder. This updated version will now look at any parameters sent by a keyboard shortcut and so it can be launched into a specific mode with different shortcuts. The shortcut will be 2 words instead of the previous single word, it can be any of the following:
> So just write for example Align VerticalRight in the second column
> of the Shortcut Menu ?
Yup, that is correct - with this updated version of Align you would put Align VerticalRight in the second column (the one that says "Command") to make align start up and also use that particular mode.
Hi nos - I tested it and it was working ok over here.
Did you possibly only set up the shortcut keys that were listed but did not copy over the updated Align.js file as described above?
Because if you have the original version of Align you would get the behavior you are describing - you need to update the Align.js file before those shortcut keys with the parameters in them will work.
(Scratch my earlier comment - I placed the Align script in V2's command folder instead of V3)
I was able to actually use the same key commands that I've been using with Corel for the past umpteen years, so this is awesome - those alignment features come naturally to me.
