Hi everyone,
I am was wondering if there was a quick way to delete the edges leftover from joining two plane surfaces. I am currently reselecting the boundary and creating a new plane, it takes awhile to do because I have many lines to select.

Thanks

Hi yakas - for planes if you do a boolean union instead of join it will merge little co-planar fragments that touch each other into single larger planes.

So that's one way to do it.

If you have an already joined piece with little fragmented planes, you can use Edit > Separate on them to break them out and then boolean union the planes to each other and then join that result back to the main piece.

Also another way to do it is to just delete the little plane pieces leaving an open hole in your object and then planar openings like that can be sealed with one large plane constructed there by using the Construct > Planar command.

Thanks Michael
I should have tried that. So simple. Just how good software should be!
