Sinc Function Curve

Attached is a quick script to create the curve known as the Sinc Function.
See Wikipedia.
The local maxima and minima of the unnormalized sinc function intersect the corresponding cosine function.

What is it good for? :-)
a. Not Much
b. Hats
c. ?

Noticed that a revolve on the x-axis only does one section. Same with sine function.

If the profile intersects the revolve axis, the revolve command cuts the profile by the axis and picks the largest piece to actually revolve.

That's to help avoid making a messy self-intersecting surface result (where the surface crosses through itself) in cases where you might have drawn the profile curve with a little bit sticking past the revolve axis.

Where the ends conclude pointing tangent to the direction. Here is a picture with the start and end points tangent to the direction.

The end tangent to the plane "horizontally" occurs at local minimum values and local maximum values, per
formulas here:
http://calculus.subwiki.org/wiki/Sinc_function#First_derivative

(tan x = -x or tan x = x and x an element of intervals.....)

Need some more study...
