Actually, if MoI had the speed and performance on an iPad that is enjoyed on a desktop PC, I'd have the iPad surgically attached to my arm!

Morse code is not quite dead yet!

It's funny to see an old fashioned technology best out in a contest against text messaging.
Not hard to fathom since there are a few code operators out there that regularly get up to 160 words per minute!

... I'm more like at 15 words per minute.

Some years ago, I built a Morse transceiver in a tobacco tin. Followed the instructions of the Rev George Dobbs, an English vicar and radio ham.

You couldn't possibly build an SSB voice transceiver in a tobacco tin for about $5.
