Hi guys
my brother have an old bicycle that could be restored.Leave to him "physical restoration",i'll do the "digital" part
no particular difficulties to model the bike, just to be patient..so no tricks or technique to show
i stayed on the screen to admire the clean surfaces and the cool metallic light that MOI can give
post some screenshots is not enough so i decided to make a 4 minutes-video to see better details and close-up
turn on full screen mode so on top right turn scaling-off- to have original size (1280x720)
after modeled and rendered,a quick animation try to show the rod-brake system carried on the old bikes
so i had to insert the bike somewhere, create a location....
inspiration came from two old users that i consider "columns" of this forum:Frency Pilou and Burrman
it's my way to say thank you to them
all stuff modeled in MOI,included Chateau Lafitte's bottle and baguettes...this is "the recipe"
---Baguettes françaises à la Moi (in french sounds cool..)---
draw to splines(red and blue) and a circle in the middle, than move the points to flatten it to the base
sweep:circle like section, blue and red like rails
turn on control points of the sweep and select like in the photo
pull down selected points
...et-voilà:Moi's baguette !

a phrase in a previous thread regarding a discussion between Burr and Mike caught my imagination
maybe this imagine could expresses the meaning..
of course modeled in Moi flip-flops and Burr's surfboard too..

my apologizes to all serious users(pro-cnc-math..etc.) for this "surreal" thread:MOI is a work-instrument but also a pair of wings to fly...
