is there a method of setting the STL export defaults?

And if instead of having your settings persist you instead want to set what the defaults are, you can modify some of the other settings under the [Mesh Export] section, there are a bunch of ones that are empty but if you set them that will set the default, look for the ones like:

Angle=
DivideLargerThan=
DivideLargerThanApplyTo=
AvoidSmallerThan=
AspectRatioLimit=


If you add a value to the right of the = sign on any of those that should set the default.

Hi Michael

If I set DivideLargerThanApplyTo=All in the ini file , STL export it still defaults to Curved

OSX 2.5 beta, no big deal, just thought I'll let you know. :)

Try setting it in lower case, like this:   all

That can be one of:   curved   planes   all


It's not supposed to be case sensitive though, there seems to be some bug there I will take a look. But for now anyway if you put in: all it looks like it will work.
