How about workplanes, or better yet be able to draw on surfaces ala SketchUp. Workplanes don't have to be as elaborate as Autodesk Inventor's or Solidworks'. ;-) (I apologize if this has been asked before. The forum's search option doesn't seem to work.)

Workplanes are useful, nice idea, of course it would be well combined with the ability to draw on a surface...

Hi Blenddoodler, I definitely want to add workplanes in at some point, but those won't be ready for the V1 release.

I'd also like to enable direct drawing on a surface as well, but that is going to be quite a lot of work to make that happen so that will take somewhat longer yet.
