hi

when i want to look at your sidepane.htm for example, it is empty. In fact all htm files i want to look at are empty. is it normal ? is there a specific software that i have to use to see them ?
also if you have time can you point me where i should look to put back the icons you removed. i want to keep your ui but just have back all icons (because i'm learning).

thanks
Laurent

Hi Laurent, if you just double click on the .htm file the OS thinks that it is a regular web page that should be displayed in the browser and then fires up the web browser to load it.

But it's not quite a totally regular web page - it requires various controls and stuff that is set up by MoI, so a regular web browser won't be able to display it properly.

You can view it in a text editor app though, like open up TextEdit.app and then open it up in there to just view the text file content directly.

I took off the names for maintaining a clean ui but if you don't mind having them you can just replace the sidepane.htm of the new ui with the original. Other problem is I reduced the tab names to almost nothing, for having a full size name just replace the moi.css with this new one.

Here are the files for the final UI with the old lay out:

The instructions for installing:

Right clic the MoI 2.5 app, then go to the "drive_c" folder and then to "moi", put there the "commands" and "ui" folders. If you want the custom styles, put the "LineTypes.3dm" in that folder too. Then the moi.ini file goes in here: /Users/ [your user name] /Library/Application Support/Moi If you are using OSX Lion in the finder press shift+cmd+G and there write the direction I wrote above changing this part [your user name].

You may miss the Split/3D/Top buttons, you can use the shortcut i set "<" or the arrow keys or change that in the options/shortcuts panel.
