I have been an avid sketchup user for 3 years now and use exclusively for the modelling of architectural projects. It is not suited however for things such as industrial design. I have been using other poly moddellers for this type of work but envisage that MOI may get my subscription if the software continues to develope in its current direction.

I must congratulate the developer on the fantastic UI (on of the easiest and visually pleasing layouts I have ever used/seen!)

Will there be links to render software such as Maxwell Render in the future?

It will probably be a while before this is possible. Does Maxwell have a stand-alone renderer? It seems that it mostly relies on various plug-in systems.

I don't think that MoI will have an official plug-in system for the V1 release, it is quite a bit of work to document and support such a system, it's probably something that will come in future versions of MoI.

Even when such a system was available, it would also of course depend on whether the Maxwell people would do the plug-in.
