Yeah, works for me :)

Create 2 cylinders
Select 2 of their rings
Click Blend
Done :) Just like it's supposed to be

Hi steve - also on your particular case there did you happen to adjust the "Bulge" slider all the way to the left? That kind of looks like the result you'd get if you had done that - when you slide the bulge slider to the left it basically reduces the influence of the blending and a very low bulge value will look like the kind of result you have there.

It can help a lot to post a 3DM model file along with your question, because that then allows for various kinds of examinations of your model which are not really possible to do just by looking at a screenshot.

I think you're right Michael it must be the Bulge slider, if you do a blend on solid cylinders you get a 'blobby' thing happening, which looks pretty good if you're doing organic stuff :)

Yes I did use solids, I'll try again.

the cylinders was me just trying to replicate the the examples in the moi docs.
I put my model I was having trouble with on hold for now and am going to spend a few weeks working through the many MoI tutorials online :)
