Alright then! Now that it's an Autodesk asset - It's only a matter of time before hacker pirates commandeer "the new" T-Splines and frees it up for the masses!!! Striking a blow to nameless face of the over-bloated super-corporate machine of "the man"! Muwahaha!

Yes, it will most likely double in price and be so complicated to use that creativity will surely be stifled.
If it becomes anything like N-Power Power-NURBS, then you'd have to take classes just to use it.

I tried their demo and wasn't impressed (pretty clunky).

modo is lot better bang for the buck!

I don't think you can compare t-splines to Modo. The power of T-Splines is the conversion of subdevided ploygons to nurbs surfaces.
