Hi turlif, it looks pretty interesting!

I had just assumed it was voxel based since it mentioned volumetric processing.

Are there any research papers that have been published on the general mechanism that it uses for representing geometry?

Do you have any plans to convert to NURBS geometry that could be used by existing CAD systems that focus on that kind of geometry rather than polygonal data?

Hello Michael,

I have enjoyed interacting with MOI on my pen tablet - inventive interface.

Our team has published extensively over many years covering our area of the geometric world.

Currently we can export STL, CLI, SLC, and image stacks (voxels). We have looked at exporting to NURBS but it produces non-meaningful or unexpected results in terms of the surface patches the user ends up with. We are still looking at the problem and may yet export to NURBS with hints from the user, however some of the objects/features our system can model will fundamentally be incompatible with surface based modeling (such as heterogeneous material blends or multi-scale microstructures).
