Hi Michael ...
This is pretty basic ... but I just discovered that I can have MoI opened twice on my dual monitor setup.
The Model on one monitor and the floor plan (architectural) on another and reference and copy back and forth.
I was originally a little disappointed that I could not place the UI on the second monitor and the model on the first one ... but this setup is great for my work. 2d and 3d all at the same time.
I really enjoy working with MoI and though I have multiple choices installed on my system MoI is clearly my favorite for almost all of my design work in the preliminary stages.
cheers,
eric
Hi eric - that's a good way to make use of multiple monitors right now.
I do have an idea that I want to try out for options for placing the side pane on a second monitor, I just have not had time yet to experiment with it.
Hi Micheal
If you set up a dual monitor mode in a later version may I make a request.
have 1 expanded view on the main monitor, and 3 accompanying views and the tool pallet fully expanded on the secondary monitor.
Hi yakas, yes putting a viewport on a second monitor is another area that I'd also like to explore in the future as well, it would be a separate thing from being able to put the side pane there.
