N Type Using Flow

Hello,

Slowly getting the hang of the Flow command. I used it to create the knurling on the body of the connector, revolved and Boolean the rest. A little under 45 minutes of cooking in Thearender 1.1 and a slightly stylized look. No post processing.

Hello,

Thanks for the compliments. It took me little while to get the knurling to match up exactly until I realized I needed to start thinking of how the knurl would look like if I unwrapped it from the connector body, then the seam ends matched up perfectly. It is also less hassle to extrude the diamonds a small amount on the underside so they will Union correctly. Placing the plane on top of the diamonds is a great feature of the Flow command because the knurling doesn't add to the diameter of the connector.
