i apologize if this has been covered elsewhere, but i couldn't find anything about it in a search or the FAQ

when will V3 be released? i would like to purchase MOI, but i don't want to do it if V3 will be released in a couple months and then need to pay extra to upgrade so soon after having purchased V2.

Hi Klingbeil, the first beta of V3 was only just recently released, so the beta test period has only just started, there is still a long ways to go before the v3 final version will be complete. It's so early in the process right now that I can't really give you a very good estimate of when V3 will be completed, could be anywhere from maybe 8 months to a year and a half from now, depending on how things go during the beta.

It will definitely be a while though, it is not imminent.
