( for example select first name G then move the mouse over the last name before P with shift and click)

Can I yet enter G to the keyboard for arrive on the first object named G...?

Hi Pilou, there is nothing for that exactly but there is a way to select named objects by "wildcard", which is where you enter in a match string with * or ? characters in it. A * will match anything and a ? will match a single character.

So for example B* will match all named objects that begin with B.

To do that push Tab to put focus into the xyz coordinate control and then type in your match string and push Enter.

No, there's nothing for this set up currently.

Hi Pilou,

> PS a? will select all names with 2 letters, with a a in first place no? ;)

Yup, that's correct - a? will match aa, ab, ac, az, etc... - any name with 2 letters that starts with a. But it will not match aaa for example.

On the other hand a * character will allow any number of variations in place of the *, so an a* would match all of aa, ab, ac, aaa, aaddfas, etc... - that one will match anything that starts with a regardless of how many other characters follow it.

Hi Pilou,

> Does this possible for the color snamed ?

No, it's only for object names, not for style names.
