Hi Pilou - if you only have a small number of styles just select one and push the Delete button a few times - each time you push it you will be deleting a style. It only takes about 2 seconds of doing this in the case you show there to delete all the styles.

If you have a large number of styles and you want to get rid of them all, then a better way to do that is to start a totally fresh model by going to File > New.

Hi Pilou,

> I have asked after the gradient making that have easily 250 styles ;)

So for that case use File > New to make a nice fresh start again.

Hi Pilou,

> Or the script if I want keep my models with not yet colors attributed ;)

You don't really need the script for that either - just select the objects that you want to keep and use Ctrl+C to copy them to the clipboard.

Then do File > New to get a clean start, and then Ctrl+V to paste those objects back in again.

Also another way to do it is to select the objects that you want to save and use File > Export to write them into a file, when you do Export it writes the selected objects to a file and in that file the only styles stored will be the ones that were used by those objects and not the full style list unlike "Save" or "Save As".

Hi Pilou,

> So what is the use if the script?

Just another possible option if you want to have a keyboard shortcut for removing unused styles.

> Clipboard has no limite of size except the memory free?

There are no special limits on the clipboard size. It does need to fit everything into one single chunk of memory though which may cause difficulties if you're trying to copy more than say 500MB of data that way.
