I really like the way Moi3D does export to OBJ. Cinema4D can handle this exported objects very well. A quick doodle.. :-)))

Thanks for the kind words. This image took approximately 10 min on a I7 Quad core (8 render buckets).
Your 2 a 4 minutes time frame is not feasible I guess. For a still you won't make large good looking images in 2 - 4 minutes I think.

Cinema4D is optimized to use multiple cores. :-)
