Having a problem with MoI's menu

Hello everyone, my name's Spar and I'm having an odd issue with the menu of the program.

I was trying out a tutorial to get the hang of using MoI, but, for some reason, I don't get that little menu with the "Done" button. Right clicking doesn't seem to work either for the sunburst tutorial.

Is there something wrong with my version of MoI? I have the Beta released on Dec 28th 2007.

Hi Spar, welcome to the official MoI forum!

Yup, there is something wrong with that version - it's an old beta release and actually should have expired a long time ago. It's actually against the terms of the license agreement to be continuing to run that old expired beta release. Are you running a cracked version that had the expiration removed?

You need to update to the full release version which has some fixes in it that solves the problem with the "Done" and "Cancel" buttons not showing up when IE8 has been installed.

If you did purchase MoI and are somehow running that old beta version accidentally (not sure how that's possible though...), please contact me at moi@moi3d.com and send me your license key or the name that you ordered it under and I can send you an updated version that will solve that problem.

Thanks,
- Michael

Also if you want to get up to speed and run some tutorials, I'd recommend using the trial version from the main web site download page: http://moi3d.com/download.htm rather than an old pre-v1 beta release version.

Either one of the trial versions (one is a 30-day trial with full functionality, the other is a non-expiring version that instead has saving disabled) should work for you without having that problem.

No problem Spar!

Also it's possible to install both the 30-day trial as well as the "no save" but time-unlimited trial at the same time, just make sure you don't put them into the same folder.

And yes you should find that problem with the buttons will not be present in the trial versions, they've been tuned up to avoid that issue.
