Hi,

I'm new here so maybe this already exists, but is there a list of new features and bug fixes for V3. I see its coming out and people are excited about it. I looked at the thread some for what people would like to see in V3. But I would be interested in knowing what is in it, or what will be in it.

Thanks,

Anthony

Hi Anthony, there's been a big overhaul in some of the "behind the scenes" structure of MoI for v3. That will have a variety of benefits (see the recent post here for some: http://moi3d.com/forum/index.php?webtag=MOI&msg=4391.4) but many of those won't be immediately noticeable as new features.

At the moment I'm actually overhauling another different infrastructure piece - updating the geometry library to the latest version. This should give me some new functionality for implementing some deformation commands, but I won't know any specifics until after the update is complete and I can experiment with some of the new geometry library functionality to see how well it works.

So anyway right this moment there is a lot of internal new stuff but not really a list of new features quite yet. The new features list will start to accumulate soon though.

It is a major goal for v3 to try and include some of the most frequently asked for features in this other thread here:
http://moi3d.com/forum/index.php?webtag=MOI&msg=3628.1

So if you review that thread and see things that are mentioned frequently there, that should give you a good idea on some of the things that I'll be trying to target.

- Michael

You can also get an idea by looking at the info for the release of V2 that just happened..
