Blend issue

Hi, I tried to blend two cylinders together, so that a section of torr connects them. It works fine at one end of the cylinder, but not at the other (make a kind of bulby shape). Are cylinders oriented? (both ends not identicals?).
The funny thing is that is I flip the cylinder around (rotate 180° from the centre), it works ok, but not anymore at the other end!
I'm kind of new user of MoI, so might missing something obvious.
Thank for any help
Jerome

Hey Jerome,
The blend command will want/need to have "open surface edges" to work with... So you will want to delete these faces before running the blend....

Sure thing.. Although it is interesting... It looks as though it was blending with the edge of the surface cap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah if you blend from a joined edge (where it is a part of 2 adjacent surfaces) it's kind of random which surface will be picked as the one to actually target the blend on to.
