Circle by circumference ?

Hello there,

I am drawing jewellery with MoI, and was looking for the possibility to draw circles by defining circumferences: In Europe, ring size are often defined by their circumference, and keying in 57 instead of 18.144 (for the diameter), would be nice.

Is there a way to achieve this?

Hi Ditto,

MoI can use maths functions as input values also, so you can use the circumference of a circle formula C=πxd transpose it to d=C/π and to input your example into MoI you would write it as 57/pi which will equate to a 18.144 diameter circle.

There are another maths functions that MoI uses here-> http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/shydc6ax.aspx

Cheers
~Danny~

Hi Ditto, you also may be interested in this plug-in that gives a list of some standard ring sizes - you pick the size you want off that list and it creates a circle for you:
