are there some doc or some papers one could read to better understand the MOI specific classes, method and or functions or possibly some tutorials?

Hi Felix, everything that there is currently for scripting is available from the wiki here:
http://moi3d.com/wiki/Scripting

It's not really an area that I've been able to cover myself with tutorials and stuff like that, because I'm still currently focused on creating more of the regular modeling toolset.
