Hi Michael ..
Is there any way to make the surfaces of an object opaque white?
Sometimes I would like to do simple line drawings but have the surfaces basically disappear if the overall background is white. With hidden lines on or off.
I have tried to set the color to white but it appears as grey on the monitor.

Hi eric, that grey color happens because the object is shaded with the light source, so it's only at the brightest color where its surface normal is oriented towards the light, and gets darker when the surface normal is angled away from the light.

But you can get a full white appearance everywhere (essentially disabling shading) by turning up the light intensity to very high.
