I see. As an alternative, could we have an option to have a number of 'draft' rebuilt curves generator on either side of one made from user-defined parameters. Say a -2, -1, 1 and 2 drafted on either side of a '0' that the user would have input ? I guess all this would take would be multiple executions of the same Rebuild routine; The tricky part would be to have an elegant way to select the desired curve out of the 5 (or whatever) generated.

But I am prone to over-engineering, I know. :)

Hi Jean-Paul, you mean having a preview of several choices that were set side-by-side to one another?

I guess then the problem would be, what values to use for those 5 different curves, I guess that would require some fairly elaborate UI to switch between different setting groups....

Also imagine if you have a curve that has a closed shape - it could be pretty easy for the 5 different previews to be overlapping on top of each other making for a kind of chaotic display.

Just to chime in here, the rebuild command DOES preview the value you enter, before you are required to commit it.. So if you just type in a value and hit enter, then the curve will update to reflect this value, then when you see what you like, you can right clcik (or choose done) to commit the value.
