Can you save the background images in MOI 2.0 or do you have to reload and align them each time you reopen a project?

Hi David, they'll be saved if you do a "Save As" to 3DM file format.

3DM is MoI's primary "native" file format which stores all of its data including stuff like background images.

Are you possibly using some other format to save your stuff in, or are you possibly using File > Export instead of a regular save? Export is short for "Export selected objects" - it only writes just the objects that you have selected to the file and background bitmaps will not be saved in that case.
