Hi Pilou, yup the new engine will still work fine on older computers.

If anything it may be a bit faster on older computers because the new script engine is quite a bit faster.

It will be possible to use Moi again on a USB stick? Right now is one of the most important feature to me.

Hi Luca,

> It will be possible to use Moi again on a USB stick?

Yup that will still work the same as it does now.

If all goes as it's supposed to, you'll actually hardly be able to notice much difference running under the new system, just some minor cosmetic changes to a few UI elements.

The benefits are more internal - having more of the UI system built in to MoI will help with stability because things like new IE versions or mangled IE installations won't affect MoI anymore.

Will V3 will have any companions?

Maybe a dog or a paper clip that gives you the illusion of knocking on the screen would be nice.
It would surely make moi3d more entertaining! ;-)

Hi Marc, one idea I've had before is that maybe the Moai statue guy (the Easter Island statue that is the MoI logo) could come out and start criticizing your modeling... ;)

Probably yes eventually at some point, but I'm not sure when. Maybe not until I could drop a 32 bit version and have only a 64 bit version.

Hi Alex,

> When will release 3 versions (at least approximately)?

It will be quite a while yet before the final v3 version will be released - it's hard to give any kind of accurate estimate now but maybe something like a year from now?

But there I'm talking about the final release - v3 beta releases will be starting up much sooner than that, hopefully in not too much longer from now.
