Character FX: I can't vouch for it as I've never used it, though I know of many people who like it. It was designed for games though so I suspect only low and mid poly models. It's free now though so why not give it a try?

DazStudio with Animate+, Puppeteer is also very helpful in DS.

The closest to that is MotionBuilder (Autode$k)

Make sure the Messiah demo works well for you if you go that route.

Sans Animate+, if may be able to get by with BVH files and such, Animeeple comes to mind.

Truebones is a good site for BVH stuff:

I don't think you will find what you want. Models made with MoI are meshed in an optimal way, which is great. However, meshes of human characters that are meant for animation have to be meshed in a particular way so that they deform properly when animated. You are not going to get this from nurbs surfaces that have been meshed automatically. You're best bet is to start in a polygon modeller. Maybe look at a few tutorials on animating a human mesh. Be warned though, it is not a beginners subject. The rigging is a specialist job, then you have to weight the mesh to the rig. Messiah makes this easier but it's not a magic bullet.

Hi Anis, maybe you could clarify a bit about what you are trying to do.

Were you talking about animating some human figure models where you have created the figures inside of MoI?

Or are you talking about something more like "clip art", adding in some human figure content to do stuff like walk around a building where it is the building that you have actually modeled yourself?

Hi All....

Thanks for so many info...

Hi Michael...

>Or are you talking about something more like "clip art", adding in some human figure content to do stuff like walk around a building
>where it is the building that you have actually modeled yourself?

Yeah, this is what I want. Lets say I have created building inside MoI, then I need to have human that walk around the building.
Another case is when I have create a machine or product design in MoI, then I want to have human that operate those machine or product on hoe to use it etc...

Thank you...

Hi Anis, I think that the software mentioned above was applicable to the kind of project that you were describing - those were things for making an animated figure that could walk around your scene.

Maybe give DazStudio a try - it has quite a bit of focus on using some predefined content.

Frankly, DAZStudio is best for what you want IMO.

Most of DAZ's wares are designed to be inexpensive and easy to use and is oriented towards a "clipart" style of use.

If you peruse their models, model accessories and other add-ons (city blocks, HDRs, vehicles etc.,) you'll see this is how they're setup.

DAZStudio has some serious power when it comes to Puppeteer and especially Animate+ for animating their characters easily.

Don't try to use DS as a >modeling application<, bringing in models, staging your scenes and animating your props and characters is what it's best at.
