Nothing tremendously exciting - I first worked on a huge project for several years that was then canceled and never released, and then after that I worked on some UI infrastructure and some e-mail tools for the MSN client software (MSN Explorer).

Microsoft doesn't really focus on making software to be used for artistic creation though, and that's one thing that I really missed.

I did learn a whole lot of new stuff while I was there and got to work with a lot of great people, so it was good for me in a lot of ways too, just for the long term it is more fun for me to do my own thing if possible.

Yup, that was when I became accustomed to using mshtml for desktop software UI.

For MoI v3 though I'm shifting away from mshtml and instead to WebKit.
